Delete your account and data

In the app (immediate)

1. Open Probashi Bhai and go to Settings (the profile icon at the top, then Settings, or the ⚙ entry on Home).
2. Under Account, tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm. The account and everything linked to it is deleted from our servers right away; the app keeps working with a new anonymous account (uninstall it if you do not want that).

Without the app (by request)

Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" and your handle (the @…pb name shown on your Profile screen) or the email / phone number you added to the profile, so we can find the account. We delete it within 7 days and confirm by reply. Requests from another email address than the one on the profile may need a short verification.

What is deleted

• Your profile: handle, display name, photo, email address, phone and WhatsApp numbers, country, city, language and interests.
• Preferences, notification settings, quiet hours and your notification inbox.
• Push notification tokens and sign-in sessions on every device.
• Bookmarks, likes, shares, video watch history and the interest profile built from it, video feed sessions and reports you submitted.
• Flight searches and VPN session records.

What is kept

• A deletion record (date, country and platform, no name or contact details) so we can prove the request was honoured.
• Aggregated statistics that do not identify anyone (for example how many people watched a video).
• Server security logs for up to 30 days, after which they are removed automatically.
• Data our providers hold under their own policies (Google Firebase / AdMob, see the Privacy Policy); you can reset the advertising ID in Android settings.

Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your phone but does not by itself delete the account on our servers; use one of the two ways above.
